Doo-Dah Diner Sunday Brunch Buffet Review

Doo-Dah Diner

Meatloaf, Waffles with Fresh Berry Compote, Banana Bread, Jalapeno Bacon, the creative options are endless.

If you want just your basic sausage gravy, you can find that any anywhere. If you want real sausage gravy, then this place is for you. If you want regular bacon, you can find that anywhere. If you want Jalapeno and Maple Pepper Bacon, this place is for you.

This place is Doo-Dah Diner.

Doo-Dah Diner located at 206 E Kellogg has a Sunday Brunch Buffet every Sunday from 8 am – 2 pm. It’s $19.99 a person, $9.99 for kids and Carry-Out for $16.99. Now the $19.99 is towards the higher end of the spectrum for Sunday Brunch Buffets in Wichita but don’t be alarmed. You are paying for higher quality and more original options than you can find at your standard Sunday brunches around the city.

The price alone certainly does not turn away customers. People are still lined up every Sunday for their brunch. Do not be deterred by the lines either, Doo-Dah offers Call Ahead Seating! Just call their number 316-265-7011 and tell them what time and how many people. When my friend and I went, it took us about five minutes from arriving to being seated.

Since we started reviewing Sunday Brunch Buffets at Wichita By E.B., this is our seventh one in town we’ve tried. What we loved about Doo-Dah Diner was that it’s not your standard buffet. The options truly are all over the board. Everything tasted fresh. Honestly, there wasn’t a thing we tried we didn’t like.

Here’s what they offered on the Sunday we went:

If all that doesn’t cut it for you, they have a little menu that you can order from at no additional charge.

Off the little menu, my friend and I had the Monkey Bread, Banana Bread French Toast and Crab Cake Benedict.

Anything ordered off of the menu is given to you in smaller portions. I like it though; portion control and helps avoid people wasting food.

In going through the buffet line, there were some items that really stood above the rest. For starters, the Jalapeno Bacon was perfection. Who doesn’t love bacon? Then if you add in some heat, it makes it even better. I know for sure most doctors wouldn’t approve of the amount of bacon we ate. The Bread Pudding was rich but in a great way. The fresh Berry Compote on top of the Waffles……………..wow. Talk about refreshing!

We both walked out of Doo-Dah stumbling as if it was 2 am leaving the bars. We were stuffed.

It’s no surprise Doo-Dah Diner offers one of the best Sunday Brunch Buffets in town. Just judging it by the crowds, it’s certainly the most popular but thank the Lord for Call Ahead Seating.

Add them to your list if you’re looking for a great meal to start your week.

Happy Dining!
