Wichita is lucky to be blessed with so many Mediterranean options. One we’ve never been to was Le Monde Cafe & Deli. Knowing this, we made a stop there recently for lunch to see how it stacked up against the competition.

On our quick lunch to Le Monde we ordered many popular favorites like their tabouli and gyro with a fattoush.
This was one of those places we really wanted to like but ultimately felt a little let down. The food tasted a little commercially produced and lacked that really fresh taste. It all felt average. The fattoush salad was missing something. Not sure if it was a lack of dressing or the quality of the ingredients but it was off. The gyro was basic as well. Le Monde just didn’t do much to separate themselves from the competition in the city.
