Beer aficionados and downtown Wichita advocates, we have some great news for you. One of the popular brew masters in town, Dan Norton, will be starting his own brewery and hopes to be open in February of 2018 just in time for when the NCAA Tournament comes to Wichita.
Norton, along with his wife, have their location set for 125 N. St Francis just north of Intrust Bank Arena. The 9,000 square-foot building will seat 174 inside; there will be an outside beer garden that seats 300 with a stage. They have a 15bbl system on hand so will have no problem pushing out beers.
Unlike many others around town, Norton’s Brewing Company will have food served for lunch and dinner seven days a week.
While it’s still early, we will have more information as it comes along on this new exciting brewery that is expanding Wichita’s already fantastic craft brewery scene.
