Earlier this year, my family and I had the opportunity to try Arbuckle Mountain Fried Pies for the first time. I was immediately addicted.
They had all sorts of pies available for $2.99 a piece: apricot, apple, peach, pineapple, cherry, blackberry. They also had cream pies with flavors of coconut, chocolate, lemon, and vanilla. I had taken pictures of everything and was hoping to write about this little pie shop before they closed.
It was then reported in November that the owners sold the franchise to a couple who would be relocating Arbuckle Mountain Fried Pies to Park City, KS! I was so overjoyed and have been anxiously awaiting an opening date. I reached out to the owners this morning and they are hopeful to be open by the third week of December or possibly a little later.
The new location will be at 1542 E 61st St. not to far of of I-135 where billboards will be placed similar to the Oklahoma location that read “FRIED PIES”.
