The new shipping container mall called Revolutsia had their first restaurant open earlier this month. Little Lion Ice Cream, who started off as a mobile cart and then out of a small space inside an apartment complex, now have their own space. They opened up for business earlier this month and thanks to a delicious picture of an ice cream cake they posted on Facebook, we had to stop by earlier than planned to get our first look at the new location.

You’ll really love the ambience of Little Lion Ice Cream. My friend loved how cute and quaint the cottage was. If you’re worried about space, there’s a staircase as you enter that takes you to a second floor with more seating.
The menu includes pastries, burritos, waffles, yogurt parfaits, expressos, coffees, and of course ice cream.
On our visit to Little Lion Ice Cream, we ordered their lime coconut avocado ice cream in a waffle cone and the sultry caramel and the fresh strawberry ice creams in a cup. I went with the lime coconut avocado since it had a coconut milk base. My love of waffle cones is real. On a recent visit to Cold Stone Creamery, their waffle cones tasted like cardboard; that’s not the case at Little Lion Ice Cream. The ice cream though was pretty tart. Lime is very flavor forward so it was pretty intense. While delicious, this would be the perfect flavor to be put in a cup with a another flavor to kind of go back and forth so it’s not just the lime you’re tasting. My friend was very impressed with both the sultry caramel and the fresh strawberry. It was smooth, creamy and provided exactly what she was expecting in terms of flavor.
Then it was the reason for our visit. While browsing through Facebook, we came across their photo of a Sweet Cream Banana ice cream cake. Little Lion Ice Cream is now serving ice cream cakes and plan to rotate flavors. This particular week, they had a sweet cream ice cream sandwiched in between banana bread and layered with pecans. I’m not really a dessert guy but could have this every day. It was the perfect combination of sweet and savory. My friend and I had no problem finishing this.
Between the ice cream and the cake, it was $15 and well worth it to the both of us. I’m not a sweets guy but my friend is and the both of us were blown away. This was our dinner at 6pm and we weren’t complaining at all about that.
Little Lion Ice Cream is a great start for Revolutisa. They have to be very proud of how they’ve grown as a business and now essentially being the anchor for the new shipping container mall. If you want to satisfy your sweet tooth, these guys are worthy of your visit.
Happy Dining,
Eddy

I hope they do well but I still question of the overall site selection. There is not nearly enough parking and the plan of having lots of pedestrian traffic is ludicrous. The area is in transition and I don’t think it is in the right direction.
