One of our favorite escape rooms in Wichita, The Room, recently opened up a new room: The Lucky Lady Saloon.

Before we get into the room, lets give you the basics of The Room. Bookings are $20 a person which is one of the best values in town for an escape room. The rooms are a minimum of 2 people and a maximum of 8 people. Every room you book is private. Meaning you can book the room for just your group. If you don’t fill up all the spots, they do not put random other people with you to fill the room. They are truly private rooms for you to enjoy with your family, friends or coworkers. Children ages 10 and under are free when accompanied by an adult making it an even better value for families.
You have 60 minutes to escape the rooms. You are given one free clue if you need one. After that you are given as many clues as you want. Each time you ask for a clue though, you will have 5 minutes added to your final time. So if you complete your room in forty minutes but ask for two clues, your final time is 50 minutes. One of the best parts of the room is it’s a full completion. That means you will always escape. Since you can ask as many clues as you want, help is always there. Your time may not be great but as long as you’re having fun, that’s all that matters.
They have two other rooms my family and friends have all completed already. So we aligned our schedules and found some time to try out The Lucky Lady Saloon.
This one had a nice Western theme to it. We will never reveal secrets about a room but we found the Lady Lucky Saloon to be one of the more challenging rooms we’ve seen around town. It wasn’t so challenging that it was too hard though. The puzzles are fairly simple, it’s just we over-analyzed many things. People of all skill levels would enjoy this room and it’d be great for group of anywhere from 2-8 people. We give this room a solid thumbs up.
