If you’re a Cracker Barrel fan and have been waiting for Wichita’s arrival, the time is almost here. Doors will officially open at 6am on Monday, November 12 for everybody. The new custom-built 10,000-square-foot space will seat 180 people. The only other location is in Park City so this is a welcome addition to many people who have long clamored for one in Wichita. We stopped by this week to get a sneak peak at what to expect on your first visit.

Of course one of the things Cracker Barrel is known for is their gift shop. They have an extensive collection of Christmas, home decor, clothing, food, I could go on and on and on. So how about a visual?
Once you are past the gift shop, you will reach their dining area. The layout is much different than what you’ll find in Park City. Cracker Barrel has a new open layout floor plan that makes it not just easier for the servers but more visually appealing. The fire place was extremely nice, I was hoping there would be an option to sit in front of it and make some s’mores on this cold morning.
Then once you are seated, you might as well order some food too.
It was a great way to start the day checking out another new restaurant in town. The area of Ridge and Kellogg has really grown over the past few years and this addition will certainly draw much more traffic. For you Cracker Barrel fans, circle the date of Monday, November 12 on your calendar.
