I arrived home this evening to some bad news; heart breaking news actually.
One of my favorite little sub shops in town, Moe’s Sub Shop has closed down. They had my absolute favorite sub in town with the Ultimate, packed with salami, turkey and ham along with all the vegetables and additional toppings you could ever want. The fresh baked bread was some of the best and it was a restaurant I’d always make it a point to drive out of the way to every few months or so.
Located at 2815 S Hydraulic, they were in business for thirty years. I remember going there at the recommendation of one of my good friends and loving it on my first time. Now I need to find a new favorite sub in Wichita.
Friday night, I will certainly be pouring a drink for my homies at Moe’s Sub Shop. You will be missed.
