Louis Rose Hill Cafe voted Wichita and the Surrounding Area’s Most Liked Burger

Five weeks of voting have led us to this day. After nearly 30,000 votes poured in, Louis Rose Hill Cafe, was voted Wichita and the surrounding area’s ‘Most Liked Burger‘.

Nobody saw it coming. After seeding the burgers, Louis Rose Hill Cafe was placed as a six seed against the popular Valley Center restaurant, Big Larry’s Burgers. That first round vote had more votes casted than any match-up in the first round. From that moment, I knew they were going to be a force to be reckoned with.

Behind the small city of Rose Hill and a their allegiance of online supporters, Louis Rose Hill Cafe would go on to beat Sport Burger, Bionic Burger, Bomber Burger and then Ty’s Diner in the finals.

Many people questioned the legitimacy of the poll, attacking many restaurants burgers, some incorrectly accusing places of having frozen patties. What started off as a fun poll to shed light on the restaurants in the area turned into the 2016 Presidential election for some people.

Detractors and haters aside, each match-up in the poll was won by the online support of each restaurants fans. There were no rules on how to vote or what to consider in a burger because 1.) People will vote how they want to vote regardless of what anyone tells them and 2.) Burgers like any food are completely subjective to ones taste. One persons definition of “good” is different than the other.

And after all of that, Louis Rose Hill Cafe won it all including the title of Most Liked Burger.
