Last month, we set out to take a public poll of who the Wichita area’s Most Liked burger was. It’s been an interesting and amusing social media poll that has garnered lots of opinions, trash talk and new found burger options for diners all over town.
We started off with 32 burger spots and have made it to the Final Four. The Favorite Four Finalists are Ty’s Diner, Bomber Burger, Buster’s Burger Joint and Louis Rose Hill Cafe.
Ty’s and Bomber Burger were one seeds in their corner of the bracket while Buster’s Burger Joint was a 2 seed and the cinderella restaurant, Louis Rose Hill Cafe, was a 6 seed. So 1-1-2-6 seeds all made it this far. Do you remember the last time a 1-1-2-6 seed made it to the Final Four in college basketball? Ironically enough it was the year Danny Manning and the Miracles won a title for KU in 1988.
Of all the restaurants who have made it to the Final Four, Louis Rose Hill Cafe has received more votes than the other three but things should be pretty tight coming up. They will match up against Bomber Burger while Buster’s Burger Joint and Ty’s Diner will face off.
