A reader made a recommendation that I should try a mobile vendor called Pee Wee + Sweet’s. They can be found at random places around the city slingin’ sammies, salads and sweets according to their Facebook page. One evening they just happened to be out at Central Standard Brewing so I swung over to check it out.

They had a really simple menu and it looked like all the food was pre-made beforehand which was totally fine given the set up.
The PB+Cherry Coke sandwich sounded intriguing so I ordered one of those along with their Pushin’ Skullet which was a juniper glazed clementine cake.
I picked both up and made my way home.
When I ordered my sandwich, I had no idea what to expect with by PB+Cherry Coke sandwich but I should have known. It really just was a PB & J sandwich with the jelly tasting like Cherry Coke.
It wasn’t anything too special and the $5 price tag was probably a little steep than what I would have preferred. When I make PB&J sandwiches at home, I really load up on the jelly so unfortunately it was a bit of a letdown for me. The Pushin’ Skullet though was excellent. I loved the flavor of it and of course the look.
If I was drinking at CSB, perhaps ordering the sandwich would have been worth it with no other options but getting it to go just wouldn’t be something I’d do again.
Happy Dining,
Eddy
