Toubia family and Latour Management to celebrate 40 years in Wichita

Forty years ago, the Toubia family and the Latour Management team opened Olive Tree Bistro in 1979. Latour’s history of restaurants include Bagatelle Bakery, Two Olives, Olive Tree Catering, and Muse Cafe. Then from the past you may have heard of Piccadilly Grill, Café Chantilly, Chelsea’s Bar & Grill, and the aforementioned Olive Tree Bistro.

Fast forward to today and they are celebrating 40 years in Wichita. To celebrate they are having a kick-off brunch on Sunday, October 27th. Doors open at 10AM, with last seating at 3PM. The brunch will take place in their Two Olives location at 2949 N Rock Road and extend into their adjacent Olive Tree Banquet Hall.

Brunch will feature chef stations representing Latour’s history of restaurants, including current properties Bagatelle Bakery, Two Olives, Olive Tree Catering, and Muse Cafe. There will also be chef stations with dishes from past restaurants, including Piccadilly Grill, Café Chantilly, Chelsea’s Bar & Grill, and Olive Tree Bistro. Customers can even vote on dishes to bring back on Two Olive’s and Olive Tree’s Facebook throughout the month of October.

Reservations are encouraged and attendance is just $26 for adults, $23 for seniors, and $10 for children ages 5-12. Children 4 and younger eat free. Children are encouraged to attend as there will be interactive “Piccadilly style” activities for kids throughout the event.
