Must Try Menu Item: Falafel Bowl at District Taqueria

It’s time to make another suggestion or an item worth trying in Wichita. This time, I made my way back to District Taqueria. They had a new special going on for taco bowls which were recently released on their menu.

Taco in a bowl? Sign me up. Let’s get on with the latest installment in the “Must Try Menu Item” feature.

Upon being seated, they had a sign introducing their new taco bowls. All of their tacos can now have the option of being served in a bowl over their house cilantro-lime rice or romaine-arugula salad mix for $9.

The special advertised for lunch that afternoon was the falafel bowl which came with tahini sauce, Lebanese Pickle Pico, Crispy Fried Falafel and Micro Radish Greens.

Guys i’m not kidding you, it was sensational. The falafel was nice and meaty but the tahini sauce and Lebanese pickle pico really shot it up in terms of flavor. It livened the whole dish up and kept me coming back for more. I had it served with the cilantro-lime rice which I think is the way to go. Rice makes everything better in life.
