Last October, Just Simply Shonda opened at 13th & Grove in the space that held Brown’s Wing World and Kandy’s Soul Food. They specialized in soul food and all sorts of different fried food.
The lifespan of restaurants at 2419 E 13th Street has been really short and the trend has continued. Just Simply Shonda has vacated the space and has plans to make a move to a different building.
They made the announcement on their Facebook page that a location reveal will be made in March. The 13th & Grove spot is now vacant awaiting whatever restaurant pops in next.
