This is an update to the blog I wrote earlier on Juarez Bakery and their $2.50 burritos. They’ve expanded their menu to include more different options. Most of the time, they just had four to choose from. Now the selection has increased and it looks like they are putting more out to keep up with demand:
- Papas/Poblanas
- Papas a la Mexicana
- Pork/Nopales
- Picadillo/Verde
- Frijoles/Queso
- Chicharron Verde
Prices were $2.50 if they included meat and just $2 for the meatless option. That’s cheap especially when you compare them to prices around town!
I purchased a bunch of them and brought them to work with me. Distributed them out and they were loved by all. Still my favorite was the chicharron which had a little chile verde inside to give it a nice kick of heat to wake me up. It was stuffed with plenty chunks of tender pork. At the pricetag of $2.50, it was an awesome value and enough food to hold us off until lunch.
These were purchased at the south Seneca location but are also available at the Waco spot. I was told the burritos are available every morning except for Sunday. They only make a limited quantity so sometimes they can sell out quick.
So it’s literally get them while they’re hot!
