Local nail salons stepping up to help with shortage of gloves and masks

Hospitals, doctor’s office and others in the medical industry are in dire need of medical supplies.

In lieu of this, three local nail salons have stepped up to give what they can.

Classy Nails has donated 3,600 face masks and 2,000 gloves. Meanwhile Wichita Nails Today has donated 1,500 masks, 3,750 gloves and 4 gallons of hand sanitizer. Then there’s VIP Nails who donated 1,00 pair of gloves.

Often times it’s the big huge organizations and corporations that get all the love for helping out and small local businesses get lost in the shuffle and all the social media noise.

So a big shout out to three locally owned family businesses in Classy Nails and Wichita Nails Today for doing their part to help out. I’m a big believer in paying it forward and hope to spread the good word of what they are doing. Once things get back to normal, those are some options to support.
