It’s the #FoodItForwardICT movement.
Many restaurants have been giving back to the community and we want to highlight those businesses who are doing what they can to bring a smile in terms of food.
The latest comes from Funky Monkey Munchies, a locally owned food truck here in Wichita.
They’ve partnered with Telehue and Rio Bravo Super Market to share the love with 200 free meals to anyone that has been hit by the COVID-19 pandemic. The event takes place on Cindo De Mayo (May 5th for the initiated). They will celebrate with al pastor street tacos, Mexican pinwheels, and dessert. The event takes place at The District Church Delano who also donated $200 to this event and volunteers.
