Back in September, REI Co-Op announced they would be coming to Greenwich Place in a brand new 20,000 square-foot building. If you’ve never heard of them, REI is a specialty outdoor retailer that sells everything from biking, hiking, running, camping and more.
They were tentatively planning on opening in the spring of this year but 2020 decided to take a dump on everybody’s plans.
That put plans on hold but it looks like now they are ready to open in a couple months.
Thanks to reader Matt Bailey, it looks like we now have a date. He stopped by the building and grabbed this picture for us.
Barring anymore craziness happening in the world, August 14 appears to be the date for REI Co-op.
