A second Wichita restaurant temporarily closed after an employee test positive for COVID-19

A couple days ago, multiple news outlets reported the Jose Peppers on North Tyler temporarily closed its doors after an employee tested positive for COVID-19. The franchise was quick to take action and shut their doors. They made sure all employees were tested which those test came back negative. Jose Peppers plans to reopen soon.

Late this afternoon, Paleterias Tropicana announced on their Facebook page that their Wichita location at 2021 N Amidon has temporarily closed after an employee tested positive for COVID-19.

While closed, they will use this time to follow all Health Department guidelines and recommendations along with disinfecting the store.

No word on when the restaurant will reopen.
