Live concerts have been postponed left and right in Wichita. Who knows when big arena live shows will be back for good.
Until then TV and now the theater is the way to see your favorite artists perform. One musician who has sold out multiple shows in Wichita is Garth Brooks and he will be headlining a one-night only concert for 300 drive-in theaters across the country.
The event takes place on June 27 and Starlite Drive-In is among those drive-in theaters to show the concert under the stars. Tickets will go on sale at Ticketmaster on Friday, June 19 at 11am ct.
Prices are $100 for one car, truck or SUV. The event will take place rain or shine and will begin at dusk, according to Brooks’ website. Those rules essentially knock out my idea to come hauling in with a semi filled with 100 people.
No details have been announced on Starlite Drive-In’s Facebook page besides a “More details to come!” message.
Stay tuned for more.
