A Visual Guide to Goyo’s Mexican Fast Food

My daughter had an addition to her family, a brand new cousin! Everybody wanted to go see the new baby and thought it would be great to bring some dinner. What did the family want? Goyo’s Mexican Fast Food.

There were six of us not including the two babies and we ordered a huge feast. I think the excitement of an infant caused us to go overboard in ordering food. We had elote, burritos, tacos, nachos, jumbo stuffed jalapeños, sopapillas, shrimp and tilapia meals.

In hindsight, we should have ordered only half of what we did. I’m not sure what Goyo’s motto is but it should be similar to what the state of Texas has: Everything is bigger in Goyo’s. The serving sizes were ridiculous. From their tacos to the burritos to the nachos, I couldn’t believe how big it was. Even their jumbo stuffed jalapeños were indeed jumbo in nature, nearly taking up the entire container. The pictures don’t even do it justice.

Here’s a look at just SOME of what we ordered. Yes…. I forgot to take some pictures like of the burrito.

I heard comments such as:

  • Why did you order that much food?
  • That burrito is bigger than your face.
  • These are my favorite tacos.
  • You won’t find any better queso in town.
  • Eddy, did you get pictures of everything?
  • I think we might have leftovers.

For me, I had the elote, some tacos, the shrimp and tilapia, jumbo stuffed jalapeño, and a sopapilla. I’m not sure how I fit everything in but when the food is good, you don’t stop eating….. at least I don’t.

For as much food as we ordered, everything came out quickly. With big carryout orders, there’s always some hesitation that a restaurant may miss an item especially when you’re ordering close to $100 worth of food. Goyo’s nailed our huge order with precision and efficiency. It took us a while to place our order but the whole time, the lady at the counter was polite and helpful in answering all the questions we had.

Park City isn’t exactly a big haven of restaurant options so they are definitely lucky to have this one.

Here’s their menu:

Happy Dining,
Eddy
