150 of the Best Restaurants and Food Trucks in Wichita

Wichita celebrated its 150th birthday. I’ve been a huge advocate for Wichita for as long as I can remember. I’m a big believer in getting out of the house and experiencing what Wichita truly has to offer. It’s no secret that if you’re looking for something to do here, going out to eat is usually towards the top of that list. (Did someone just say list?) 

In the Wichita city limits alone, there are over 1,000 options for dining which makes it hard to decide where to go. After years of traveling around the city and visiting literally every restaurant in town, I’m up for the challenge of ending the where to eat debate.

It was tough and after arguing with myself on who to cut and who to keep but I did my best. I purposely made the list eclectic to cover the range of food one may want. Whether it’s pizza, burgers, pho, food trucks, ice cream, whatever, use this resource for different food around town. Keep in mind, this is all the opinion of one person and food is so subjective. As with any list, there will likely be many places you feel are missing so don’t take this as gospel.

Some additional things to keep in mind while perusing through the list. Many dining options fit under multiple categories but I placed them under what I enjoy best about them. I also tried to link each option with their Facebook page when possible. And any place with multiple locations I didn’t want to deal with listing those all out. I took the lazy way out. Lastly, not all of these places may be open at the moment due to COVID-19.
