Checking out the Sunday brunch buffet at The Sweet Spot

We had a birthday to celebrate and wanted to do Sunday brunch. We are a family that loves buffets. When searching around for which restaurants still had Sunday brunch buffets, one came up that we haven’t tried, The Sweet Spot. It’s a restaurant that opened a couple of years ago. While I’ve been there for dinner, I haven’t been by for brunch and suggested we all go head up there for our birthday celebration.

The Sunday Brunch runs from 10am to 2pm and cost $18.95 for adults, $16.95 for seniors, $8.95 for kids 6-12 and free for 5 and under.

Their buffet line had a very clean set up. It was self-serve where masks were required and gloves were provided.

There was a wide selection of breakfast and lunch offerings to choose from like French toast and other basic breakfast offerings and then fruit, salmon, prime rib, and other lunch selections on the buffet line. They also had a made-to-order waffle and omelette station that was available through our server.

Basic beverages like tea and coffee came with the buffet price. Mimosas and bloody marys were on special as well for $5 which was a no-brainer.

We really enjoyed not just the cleanliness but the quality all the foods. While much of the breakfast offerings were simple, they were done just right which was all we could ask for. I particularly loved the prime rib. Nothing gets my Sunday going like rare prime rib.

Everybody was able to find a good selection to keep them going throughout brunch.

Here’s a small sample of what we had.

On top of all that, our server did an incredible job of taking care of our table and making sure everyone was taken care of. The staff also made sure people wore their mask during buffet visits. There were a couple times some diners forgot, and they were very kind and courteous in their reminders to folks. Overall, it was a nice enjoyable visit where we could get together as a family, enjoy a good buffet and be taken care of.

If you’re looking for a Sunday brunch buffet, especially one out west, this one is for you. BTW, reservations are encouraged.

Happy Dining,
