While on the hunt for some burgers in Wichita, we decided to stop by Walts Klassics. There appear to be two locations that are separately owned and for the purpose of this review, we went to the west side location for a quick drive-thru burger.

During our stop, we ordered a couple burgers along with an order of fries and tots. When we arrived home, we received two burgers along with two sets of fries. Grrr……
To start, the fries were horrible. They were very dry. We each had maybe 5-6 fries and threw both orders of fries in the trash. It would have been a perfect time for some tater tots but alas we did not get those.
As for the burgers, they were a much better experience. The form fitting buns did a great job of keeping the burger intact. While the patty wasn’t all that thick or juicy, it still had a good flavor to it. It was reminiscent of a backyard burger you’d find at someone’s cookout.
It wasn’t the best burger but a decent, no frills, basic burger you could enjoy. We both finished ours and were quite satisfied.
Everything would have been much better had we received our actual order or some better sides. But with that, it was a decent little burger at Walt’s Klassics.
