Wichita has a brand new quaint and charming little teahouse in College Hill aptly called The Teahouse. It’s located right off of Douglas at Clifton Square with a patio overlooking Douglas. The new business sells more than 30 varieties of tea from 13 countries along with snacks, tea-inspired gifts and home decor. I decided to swing by to get a look at what you can expect.

The patio was beautiful and very inviting. With some nice weather taking place over the weekend, there were quite a few folks enjoying the 70 degree temps with some tea.
Once inside, I walked around the building to see what they had available. There were little rooms spread throughout with more seating inside. Here’s a small glance:
Regarding their teas, there were plenty to choose from. I’m no tea aficionado but do drink it quite often. From what I was reading, they offer a diverse selection of loose-leaf teas that all people could enjoy. Their categories include caffeine-free, single origin, green and black teas, blooming tea, herbal tea, yerba mate and bubble tea. All teas can be enjoyed freshly brewed house or available to take home.
I ordered one of their cold teas from LeafLogic to go and found it to be quite refreshing.
What really piqued my interest were their tea classes posted on their Facebook page. They had some classes available on Japanese Matcha, Taiwanese Tea Culture, and Teas Around the Country.
When I have some more time, I can’t wait to return to enjoy some tea on their patio.
Here’s their menu:
Happy Dining,
