Ever since they opened their brick and mortar location at 803 N. West St. at the end of 2019, Tacos TJ 664 has continued to gain popularity over the months. The popular eatery that serves Tijuana-style tacos even won the Most Liked Tacos tournament held here. When I spoke with them a few months back about the size of their location, they said they were either looking to open another location or perhaps find a bigger building.
If you’ve been to Tacos TJ 664 or driven down West Street, you’ve likely seen every parking stall taken in their small lot. By the end of the year, they’ll finally be able to accommodate more customers.
They’re currently in the process of moving just couple blocks north to 1014 N. West Street in the former Copas Loka’s Sports & Cantina space. The larger building will allow them to triple their capacity and give them a patio. The bigger building also means a bigger kitchen for an expanded menu. Their plans are to be in by the first week of December.
