ABOUT THE OWNERS
Victor and Mara started working in restaurants around town since they were teenagers and always had a plan to start their own restaurant. Victor always worked in the kitchens of well-known restaurants in town. Meanwhile, Mara worked as a manager starting at the age of 16 in her mother and stepfather’s restaurants. They both had lots of experience in the restaurant business and felt that it made sense to start a restaurant. “We feel so blessed, since day one we felt the love of this community. It’s been 4 years of hard work and sacrifice but it’s paying off.”
ABOUT THE BUSINESS
Goyo’s is a restaurant where we serve great quality Mexican food (Baja California style) at an affordable price. We made or menu thinking of the workers in the area for a delicious and affordable lunch.
WHY WE STARTED THE BUSINESS
We started Goyos because we saw the need of a Mexican restaurant in the area. My wife and I live in Park City, and we knew workers in the area were looking for a restaurant where they can have their lunch served quickly and for a good price and that’s what we did. Goyo’s was named after Victor’s father who passed in 2009. His name was Gregorio but everybody knew him by his nickname “GOYO”.
