East side Mexican restaurant closes after 5 years in business

Yet another east side Mexican restaurant has announced they are closed. Lina’s Mexican Restaurant at 4920 E. Central officially closed over the weekend after being in business for five years.

The restaurant which took over the original Jacky Chan sushi location in 2016 offered quick service Mexican food that included tacos, burritos, breakfast specialities and more.

Another Lina’s Mexican Restaurant which is separately owned and operated is located at 3570 N. Woodlawn.

Like the Wichita earthquakes, it doesn’t appear this will be the last one for 2020. Rumor has it there will be more closings to come before the end of the year.

  1. I tried this place once simply out of laziness from going on Broadway to my normal truck and it had thee most overpriced, flavorless dishes I’ve ever tasted. I’m surprised it lasted as long as it did.
