Whiskey bar serving seafood including lobster, oysters and more seafood is coming downtown

The original plan was to open a restaurant out west that served Cambodian dishes with Asian, Cajun and American flare but that has all changed. Happy Eggroll which started out as a home-based business had been looking to open a restaurant. COVID-19 stalled those plans and then an opportunity downtown changed everything.

Happy Eggroll will now be opening up inside the former Fredos space who closed last month at 301 N. Washington.

They will change their name to Headz & Tailz Whisky Bar. Some items from their home-based business will be included to their menu. You’ll be able to find dungeness crab, snow crab clusters, mussels, clams, oysters, lobsters and shrimp. There will also be cigars, live entertainment and of course a full bar.

I’ll keep posted when I hear of an opening date. Until then, you can follow them on Facebook.
