Wichita is now down to one Town & Country restaurant

In the past year, Wichita went from one Town & Country restaurant to zero, back to one, then to two and now back to one. Confused? Let me try and help you out.

  • Around the start of the pandemic, the original Town & Country restaurant at 4702 W. Kellogg following the death of Larry Conover. This took Wichita’s T&C count from 1 to 0.
  • A new owner stepped up and opened Town & Country Classic Restaurant at 10510 W Southwest Blvd which had been open since July of 2020. The updated count went from 0 to 1.
  • Another new owner then announced a revival of the original Town & Country restaurant at the original west Kellogg location that opened in October of 2020. T&C’s count spiked from 1 to 2.
  • Over the weekend, Town & Country Classic Restaurant at 10510 W Southwest Blvd closed for the final time which took the count back down to 1.

Over the past year did you go to either of the separately owned and operated Town & Country restaurants? Chime in via the comments section below.

Happy Dining,
Eddy

  1. I have been to both. Was not a fan of the one on Maize & K42. Loved the original location on W. Kellogg. But unfortunately it is now turning more and more into an ihop, (which i seriously don’t like the quality of their food) it’s sad that neither one could live up to the quality and reputation of the original T&C

  2. Went to the Kellogg one a few months ago. No impressed and I used to be a fan. Unorganized, no straws in whole restaurant, food wasn’t as good and not following Covid rules very well. Won’t be back.
