A bar that I feel is underrated when it comes to food is Whiskey Dicks. It’s a place I really need to get back to sometime for a full review. But until then, here’s a quick look at my Fat Tuesday experience there.

I was looking for somewhere to grab a meal for Fat Tuesday. The only thing I knew for sure was I wanted to go somewhere I haven’t been for Fat Tuesday. Whiskey Dicks came across my social feed.
They were advertising some specials and one of their meals caught my eye. It was frog legs, jambalaya and Cajun slaw for $9.99. I knew that was exactly right up my alley and made my way there.
Everything on this dish was amazing. The frog legs were lightly breaded and meaty, the jambalaya had a nice smokiness to it and the Cajun slaw surprised me with so much heat and flavor.
At first glance, I wasn’t sure if it was going to be enough food. But by the time I was done with it, I sat there in pure bliss. Everything was incredibly delicious.
It shouldn’t come as a shock to me because the past couple times I stopped by Whiskey Dicks for food, I walked out a very happy man. Thanks Whiskey Dicks for a fantastic Fat Tuesday meal.
