Many people are probably familiar with the supermarket El Rio Bravo. It’s a great grocery store that also has a kitchen inside putting out some wonderful food. They recently expanded to include a food truck called El Rio Bravo Food Truck. They’ve been parking out at Westway Marketplace at Pawnee and Seneca.

Much of their food is grilled right on the spot next to the food truck.
For our quick visit, we ordered a couple al pastor tacos and an al pastor quesadilla. To be completely honest, the food was very uninspiring, bland and dry. The meat had a dry look that matched it’s flavor. We would have tried to pour some salsa on it but were not given any.
The food looked as if it was lazily put together. It was one of the few lunches we didn’t even bother to finish. It was upsetting to see after having some good food at their store. Needless to say, this food truck will need some work.
