La Galette reopens following temporary closing

La Galette French Bakery & Deli located at 1017 W. Douglas closed temporarily following the passing of the restaurant’s patriarch, Albert Abdayem.

Albert was the father of Tony Abdayem whom both founded La Galette. After closing in late December, La Galette is ready to reopen starting February 1. They will resume their regular store hours which are Monday through Saturday 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

I look forward to stopping by. People keep telling me to return for a revisited review to get some Quiché.

So be on the look out for that. And while you’re here, why not give La Galette French Bakery & Deli a like on Facebook to welcome them back?

Happy Dining,
Eddy

  1. So happy to see la Galette is going to be open! Hope all are well and feeling good! I love this place. They made the most beautiful, delicious cake for my husbands 90th birthday! They are the best!
