It’s been Barroco Mexican Grill, Las Trojas and most recently Rancho Nuevo Mexican Restaurant. Now a fourth Mexican restaurant will take over the space that was also a Samurai Sushi and Steakhouse and before that the original west side Kobe’s.
Las Catrinas Mexican Restaurant will open at 2330 N. Maize Road in the same strip as Emerson Biggins West. Many of you will remember that Rancho Nuevo Mexican Restaurant closed at the end of 2020 but it appears Las Catrinas was quick to move in.
No word on what all will be on the menu but their Facebook page list the restaurant as a Tex-Mex Restaurant.
I have not heard of any potential opening date but they are currently in the process of hiring so it could be within the next month.
