Inside the FireWorx co-working space sits a new cafe called Sunflower Espresso Cafe. Some of you may be familiar with the mobile truck Sunflower Espresso runs and often seen downtown and at various food truck events around town. The mobile business which has been open since 2014 jumped at the opportunity to have their own cafe and dining room inside the remodeled FireWorx building.
500 Topeka St., Wichita, KS 67202
Monday – Friday: 7am – 1pm
Closed on Sunday & Saturday
As most long-time readers know, I’m not much of a coffee drinker, but that doesn’t prevent me from letting everyone know about what’s new in town.
Entrance to Sunflower Espresso Cafe is on the ground floor of FireWorx off Topeka Street.
As you enter, the menu and walk up window face the south end.
Some seating and bar space face the other end.
I stopped in real quick to order a Jolene Latte and Caramel Delight. I’m not one to listen to when reviewing coffee (or anything at all actually) but for what it’s worth, I finished my Caramel Delight probably within minutes of getting in my car.
Their mobile business has tons of fans so I’m sure they’re excited to see them finally expand to a cafe space as well.
Here’s their menu.
