A new Vietnamese restaurant is taking over the space vacated by Pho Ong 8 who has since moved to 3801 E. Harry in front of the old Wichita Mall. Coming soon to Wichita will be Phở King + Rice (pronounced fuh-king-plus-rice).
The restaurant located at 4857 E. Harry is currently going through some renovations inside but I was able to get more details.
The owner is no stranger to the local restaurant scene. Phở King + Rice is owned by the same people that brought you Nippon Japanese Grill and Old Tokyo Steakhouse. The menu will be slightly different from the other two establishments with the obvious addition of pho among other traditional Vietnamese dishes.
They also plan to have some Pho King merch for sale for you to Pho King wear to show off your love of local restaurants.
