Let’s review Doc Green’s Gourmet Salads & Grill!
I was in the mood for a wrap and decided to swing by Doc Green’s Gourmet Salads & Grill. The healthy eating concept focused around salads, sandwiches and wraps has three locations in Wichita, one in Derby and another in Olathe. I visited their College Hill location at 410 N. Hillside with my daughter.
While there, I ordered the Thai Chicken wrap which included grilled chicken, crispy noodles, tomatoes, crisp romaine, cucumbers, mandarin oranges, almonds and a little Asian sesame dressing. Mac and cheese felt like an appropriate side given my daughter wanted something small to eat.
To be completely honest, Doc Green’s isn’t somewhere I often eat, and I’m not sure exactly why. Their Thai Chicken wrap was pretty tasty and the mac and cheese were perfect for the little one. The wrap was packed full of chicken that had a nice citrus and salty aftertaste thanks to the dressing and oranges.
While it was a quick brief visit, it was certainly a satisfying one. I’ll have to return for a salad review.
