While out west at Home Depot, I thought it might be a good time to swing by a restaurant nearby I haven’t been to. Tuta’s Teriyaki is located on McCormick street essentially across the street from the west side Home Depot.

Tuta’s also has a second restaurant at 929 N. Broadway but for this review, we went with the Tyler location.
Our visit to Tuta’s was simply for a dinner carryout. We ordered a couple chicken teriyaki meals with fried rice. I vividly remember confirming with the gentleman that I said fried rice and he nodded his head. We also ordered some stir-fried noodles with pork.
Our meals were ready shortly after and we made our way home.
Instead of the fried rice, we received steamed rice. One of the kids was a little upset about it but fortunately, he still enjoyed his meal. The sauce and chicken are truly the stars of this dish with the rice just playing a bit part. There was a bed of tender delicious chicken everybody devoured quickly.
It was my first time going with the stir-fried noodles. They were extremely thin which gave them an airy texture. The pork with their signature teriyaki sauce though helped give the meal some bite. I swear they should bottle up the sauce. It’s so good.
Everyone agreed that the teriyaki was just splendid and probably a restaurant we should put into our dinner rotation.
Here’s the menu:
Happy Dining,
