Not everything that includes family fun has to take place in the morning or in the evening. If you’re a night owl and can brave the late evening, consider Midnight Bingo at Bingo Casino.

Many long time readers of this blog know I’m an avid bingo player. I love it despite all my losses. The Bingo Casino location at 1211 E 47th St. S offers bingo every Friday. The first set of games called minis start at 11:30 p.m. with the main bingo session kicking off right after it.

The cost of Midnight Bingo is $30 and includes all the game packs you need to participate from 11:30 p.m. to the end of the evening. It’s a lot of games so you’re really getting all the bingo for your buck.

We went recently and had a good ol’ time despite being up very late. I’m a severe night owl and usually stay up until 2 a.m. almost every night. It was the first time utilizing my brand new Shockers bingo bag.

Here’s an example of all the games that are played all evening.

We ended up finishing around 3 a.m. and had one win at our table. Enough to pay for more than one of the sets of bingo packs purchased.

There was a good-size crowd there. We saw other families there with mostly their older kids. It’s not something we’ll make a habit of frequenting as the earlier sessions at 7 p.m. are more are style. But to experience it and get out one evening that doesn’t involve going to the bars was a good change of pace.
