In October 2020, a new Italian restaurant opened in the former Fetch Bistro space near 37th and Rock. We stopped by their private opening and thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. Nine months later while on the hunt for some patio dining, we decided to revisit Napoli Italian Eatery.

I’ve always thought the patio space at the strip center was one of the best in town. Back when it was Pacific Coast Pizza, we would spend weekends hanging out there. Fetch Bistro’s transformation wasn’t exactly my cup of tea, but I loved how inviting Napoli changed it. It looks even better in the evening when the lights are on.
We started off dinner with some carpaccio which was thinly sliced tenderloin, pistachio, olive oil jam, ricotta, salata, arugula and grilled ciabatta. We loved it. The carpaccio was the perfect sized appetizer that got our appetites primed for dinner.
They had some specials going on that evening for dinner but ultimately, I just wanted a good hearty lasagna. Megan went with the shrimp verde dish. Our daughter went with a kids dish of noodles.
Everything was just as we imagined. I think one of the things that really elevates Napoli’s dishes are the sauces. They taste fresh and never overly sweet. The lasagna, for instance, had a red sauce that livened up the heavy meal. There was a zesty bite to it that was a perfect compliment to the dish. Even the house-made noodles had a perfect texture to them.
Everybody had a happy plate by the end of the night. My daughter may have cheated by “accidentally” spilling half of it on herself and the ground, but A for effort.
And we made sure to save room for some tiramisu. We’ve made no secret about it that Napoli’s tiramisu is one of our favorites in town.
