I always see important news regarding restaurants. So, I figured why not put a bunch together when I see it for some quick hits on good things to know like temporary closings, hours changing, vacations, openings, etc?
Buster’s Burger Joint: Beginning the week of July 26, Buster’s will be closing on Mondays. Closed on Sunday & Monday. Open Tuesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Gabby’s Peruvian Restaurant & Catering: Starting July 28th, Gabby’s is extending their hours and will be open from Wednesday to Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Hill Top Farms: Cantaloupe, peaches, sweet corn and tomatoes fresh from the field will be available for purchase at the Ace Hardware in Maize, KS from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. or until sold out.
Ice Caps Shave Ice: Saturday will be the last day for their east location at Towne East Square. The west side location at 13th and Ridge Road will remain open until further notice.
Next Level Cafe: Next Level have changed up their hours. They will be open on Sundays from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., but will be closing on Mondays. Their Tuesday through Saturday hours will remain the same, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
No Bake Cafe: The edible cookie dough shop has been closed since Sunday but will reopen on Wednesday, July 28.
Tacos Chepe: The north side taco truck will be closed July 27 through August 15.
Torchy’s Tacos (new 2901 N. Maize Road location): Be one of the first 100 customers on opening day, July 28 at 10 a.m., and you will receive a limited-edition Torchy’s West Wichita T-shirt and free queso for a year.
Vietnom Nom: Please note, the west side Vietnamese restaurant will be closed on Wednesday 7/28 and from Monday 8/2 – Tuesday 8/3.
