They’ve been at their current location since 1961. It’s a place many people frequent to play some quarter pool, enjoy a burger, hang out on the patio or in our case play some shuffleboard. It’s the Oasis Lounge and they are the subject of our latest bar stop.

Located at 4121 W. Maple Street, you’ll be hard-pressed to come up with an excuse that you can’t make it. Oasis Lounge is only closed for four hours of the day. Their regular hours are 6 a.m. to 2 a.m. as they’re open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Whether it’s during the day or in the evening, they have a nice covered patio to protect you from the elements. There’s been days, my friends and I have spent all afternoon on the patio playing cornhole.

Inside, you’ll find plenty of seating along with a backroom that you can reserve for private parties. There are two pool tables located right in the middle of the bar that have seen more action than (insert tasteless joke that would have been deemed as funny before cancel culture hit).

Our reason to get out was to play some bar games and shuffleboard had our names on it. It’s free to play. All you need to do is give them your credit card to reserve the pucks.

And of course if you get thirsty or hungry, there’s plenty of food options to choose from. Here’s a fun fact, Oasis Lounge was once named as one of the best burgers in a USA Today article.
