What is Shop & Grub?
Located at Naftzger Park, it’s a monthly market put on by Festive ICT in collaboration with Wave. The event features local and out of town merchants selling art, jewelry, vintage clothing, food and so much more. The best part of it is the Shop & Grub is a free event to attend and great for all ages.
Shop & Grub takes place once a month from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. There are two dates left for the year: September 19 and October 17.
At the last event, there were well over 50 vendors that covered anything you could want. And yes, for the 21+ crowd, a booze truck is available at the event as well as live music.
I stopped by at a previous Shop & Grub event because I wanted to check out some food vendors I haven’t had before. It was definitely impressive to see the turnout; not just from the vendors but from the public.
If you love a good outdoor market, this is a fun one to attend. The Naftzger Park area is great and makes for an awesome centralized location for everyone in Wichita.
