One of the most popular small town restaurants in Kansas officially closed their doors earlier this week. Triangle Restaurant in Douglass, KS
The family-style restaurant was the main dining destination in Douglass, KS. They served homemade pies, breakfast, comfort dishes and a mix of Mexican cuisine intertwined.
It’s unfortunate as the food was delicious. My daughter and I took a visit earlier this year and enjoyed not just our lunch but the staff there.
While no reason was confirmed for the closing, it looks as though they were looking for a buyer to take over but couldn’t.
Hopefully someone will eventually take over the Triangle and bring it back. Every small town deserves a delicious diner to bring people together.

Stopped in there early in November for lunch and it was very good. Sorry to see it close.
