What to expect at Il Primo Epic

Most coffee drinkers are probably familiar with Il Primo Espresso Caffe at Central and Woodlawn. After all, they are the first coffee house in Wichita. But did you know they have a second location? That’s right. On the ground floor of the Epic Center at 301 N. Main Street, you’ll find Il Primo Epic. It’s located right as you enter in from the parking garage in the space that previously held Parsnipity Cafe.

I wanted to stop by and get a quick, brief look for what diners can expect. While it’s probably familiar to those who work in the Epic Center, fans of Il Primo will likely be excited that there’s a second spot to get their coffee. Along with the coffee, they also have a limited breakfast menu of sandwiches, burritos, omelets, pastries and more.

It was a quick in and out visit for me, but one I wanted to do a small write-up on to pass the word.

My visit consisted of a pumpkin muffin. FYI, they also carry products from NiceBites Bakery.

I also had a hot tea and a breakfast burrito which included sausage, scrambled egg, shredded cheddar cheese and a side of salsa. The burrito was made fresh to order which a positive as many similar set ups have them all premade and sitting out.

My breakfast burrito was a good hefty size and was more stuffing than tortilla. I despise the large burritos that are made to look bigger only because they use a tortilla the size of Earth. Il Primo Epic’s was filled with plenty of sausage, egg and cheese to satisfy you and hold your hunger cravings until lunch.

Other than that, I don’t have much else to say. Not much time was spent there, it was literally under ten minutes and I was out the door. If anything, use this blog as a reminder of what else is out there in Wichita.
