Located inside the former Hereford House is The Greens at Terradyne. What some people may not know is the restaurant is open to the public. We decided to drop by over lunch to get a firsthand look at what to expect. Let’s go.

It was a quick little lunch for us. The service was relatively fast as was the speed to get our meal out to us.
Unfortunately, that was the biggest positive for us. For our orders, we had the classic reuben and the chicken salad croissant with fried pickle chips. After we ordered, they let us know that they didn’t have any croissants left but would substitute that with regular bread. It was fine, but it just didn’t have the same magic.
Between the reuben and the chicken salad “sandwich”, there just wasn’t much substance to either order. Both sandwiches were very thin and lacked much in the way of filling. It was probably the thinnest reuben I’ve had around town and the chicken salad sandwich was very barebones and had more bread than actual chicken salad. All of it would have been if they were tasty and worthwhile, but that wasn’t the case. For $12 each, it just wouldn’t be something we’d order again or recommend to anybody.
Overall, it was a very poor experience for us in the food department. Everything else from ambience, cleanliness, service was outstanding, but the most important factor was a thumbs down.
It stinks because I’ve heard some good things about The Greens from friends. Maybe we’ll have to return and try something else in the future.
Here’s their menu:
Happy Dining,
Eddy
