Jeff Dunham at INTRUST Bank Arena | January 28
Where: INTRUST Bank Arena
For more than thirteen years, Jeff Dunham and his delightfully irreverent cohorts, Peanut, Walter, José Jalapeño, Bubba J. and Achmed the Dead Terrorist, have filled arenas across the U.S. and the world with their multiple blockbuster tours. And now, after taking the year off that nobody wanted, the comedian/ventriloquist and the little guys in his suitcase are restarting their much-claimed international tour, “JEFF DUNHAM: SERIOUSLY!?.”


Dōma Grand Opening | January 25
Where: Dōma
The new small plates and hand-crafted cocktails restaurant officially opens to the public on Tuesday. They are located at 7703 E. Douglas right outside of Towne East Square. Check out our sneak peek at Dōma here.

Ope Wheat Tapping | January 25
Where: Hopping Gnome Brewery
We’re gearing up for Kansas Day with our seasonal wheat beer! It has a new name with an amazing label design by local artist Geli Chavez! Hop-forward wheat brewed with half 2 Row/half wheat, and hopped with Comet hops from Kansas Hop Co!

The Shadows Soft Opening | January 26

Located at 6339 W. Kellogg Dr, The Shadows… a speakeasy providing a variety of dining, craft cocktails and entertainment.

1 Million Cups | January 26
Where: Groover Labs
1 Million Cups is a free, weekly national program designed to educate, engage, and connect entrepreneurs. Every Wednesday morning at 8:45 a.m., one or two early-stage startups present their companies to a diverse audience of their peers, mentors, educators, and advisors.

Thursday Night Pinball League | January 27
Where: The Arcade
Every Week on Thursday Night. Doors at The Arcade open at 6pm. League games will begin at 6:30pm, no practice games will be allowed on league games after this point. Check out our feature at what to expect here.

Joggers & Lagers | January 27
Where: Ziggy’s Pizza (Clifton Square)
The Joggers & Lagers Ziggy Run will meet at Ziggys Pizza at Clifton Square and head out for a short run around beautiful College Hill Park and return to Ziggys for Pizza, Beer and Fun with our fellow running friends! See you Thursday January 27th at Ziggys!!

DIY Door Hangers Class | January 27
Where: Chico’s Mexican Restaurant
Come out and enjoy some wonderful Mexican food while making your own 16 inch door hanger! 9 stencil designs to choose from and you pick all the colors! We will supply everything you need to complete the sign all we need is you!

Adult Skate Night | January 28
Where: Carousel Skate Center

Where: The Barnyard Indoor Playground

We will be having live events such as bull riding, sword swallower artists, cowboy shootout, and food vendors! Come out and take a look at the New and Original Flea Market!

■ Dream Catcher Class | January 29
Where: Mid-America All-Indian Center
Learn to make your very own Dream Catcher, 1-3pm. $25.00-all supplies and a visit to our museum included. School age children with an adult 18 years or older are welcome

■ Coffee & Cookies | January 29
Where: Sojourner’s Coffee House
MILITARY AND VETERAN SPOUSES!! This one is for YOU! We will be decorating winter cookies from the Kansas Cookie Jar. Each spouse will be provided with a cookie kit with 6 sugar cookies and everything you need to decorate them and take them home! This will be a wonderful time of fellowship and friendship, please join us! There are only 8 spots available for this event.

Cultural Immersion Teatime | January 30
