One of my favorite pizza places in town is Ziggy’s Pizza. They are celebrating ten years of serving customers in Wichita. What started out with a small, quaint little pizza restaurant in Clifton Square has grown in to three locations around town. My friends and I recently stopped by their east side location at 12115 E. 21st St N. There was a group of twelve of us who ordered many pizzas from the menu, hung out, drank some summer brew, and all gathered around Ziggy’s signature rectangular pizzas.

What is there not to love about Ziggy’s? I’ve made it no secret that my favorite pizza there is the Classic Ziggy’s, which is their take on a supreme pizza. It’s the perfect balance of meats and vegetables that makes for a delicious slice every single time. One of my closest friends is a huge fan of the Meat Me, while the Taco Pizza was another huge favorite. The crust isn’t all that crispy but had a nice “bend” to it that works well for the pizza. Each slice’s square cut makes it an easy, clean eat.
We’ve always had fantastic service at Ziggy’s and it’s essentially the epitome of a Wichita locally-owned business that has made it work in an industry that’s extremely tough to be successful at.
I’ll always be a supporter of them. Congrats to Ziggy’s Pizza on ten years.
