Where: Century II Concert Hall

Empty Bowls Wichita: Bowl Fest | April 29
Where: Groover Labs
Empty Bowls has a new look this spring! At this year’s Bowl Fest, we will still have an impressive collection of bowls for sale made by local and regional artists, ranging in price from $5 – $50. Monetary donations will also be accepted, with 100% of proceeds going directly to the Kansas Food Bank. But instead of the traditional chili cook-off competition, this year’s event will feature food trucks, live printmaking, wheel throwing demonstrations, and more! Come join the fun while supporting an important cause!

Our theme for 2022 is Superheroes vs Villains and you can expect special guest appearances from the likes of Batman, Spider-Man, Thor, Wonder Woman, Captain America, Black Panther, Iron Man, Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy.

Open Streets ICT | May 1

Join us for Open Streets ICT – NoMar, a FREE neighborhood community-building event along 21st Street in Wichita, KS for a full day of biking, fun physical activities, music, dancing, yoga, and much more! We will be closing one mile of 21st Street to traffic from NoMar Market at Broadway Ave. to Woodland Park, and open the street for biking, walking, running, live music and dancing, entertainment, food, art, yoga, and more.

2022 Spring Prairie Fire Half Marathon and 5K | May 1

The stage is set for another great race day in the ICT! Join us for the Half Marathon, 5K, and non-competitive 5K on May 1st! Our mascot, Sparky, is decked out in his 3-stripes and is ready to rock a rhyme, er, race on time! There’s nothing ‘tricky’ about it.
