Sometimes you want some heavy comfort food to end your day. That’s exactly how I felt and why I stopped by Krispy’s Fried Chicken & Seafood. They have long been one of my favorite spots for fried chicken. When they call themselves “Krispy’s”, they aren’t lying, as it is the crispiest in town.

I was feeling chicken and waffles. While there are a plenty of options around town, I knew Krispy’s wouldn’t steer me in the wrong direction with their chicken. Everything was made fresh to order and a wonderful, comforting delight. The waffle was light and fluffy and the fried chicken was just as good as it has ever been. I loved cutting into the chicken and hearing that loud crispy sound.
Probably the only point of contention was not having warm maple syrup, but it was by no means a dealbreaker. At $8 for a 2 piece chicken and waffle, this meal did not break the bank. My waistline? Maybe, but not the bank.
Between the fantastic price, food and customer service, no drive is too far to get your hands on Krispy’s Fried Chicken.
